Federal Support for the Lone Ridge Community Hall Association (5/18/2010) The Lone Ridge Community Hall Association will receive $9,208.00 to replace stoves, a cooler and rolling serving tables in order to continue to provide activities for seniors such as dance and other social activities. Canada's seniors worked hard to make this country the strong nation it is today. Our government is proud to support projects that engage seniors and keep them involved in their communities.

Federal Support for the Mirror Jolly Seniors Social Club (5/17/2010) The Mirror Jolly Seniors Social Club will receive $21,000 for its Facility Renovation to renovate and repair shingles, windows, and the pool table cover. This will allow them to continue to provide activities for seniors such as breakfasts, coffees, floor curling and other social and recreational activities.

The Wetaskiwin Senior Citizen's Society Receives Federal Support (4/24/2010) Mr. Blaine Calkins, MP for Wetaskiwin, announced that the Wetaskiwin Senior Citizen's Society will receive $10,232.00 under the Government of Canada's New Horizons for Seniors Program to renovate and repair the main hall floors, walls and insulate the attic.
